After what seems like a very long five, six or even 7 years, the San Pedro tunnel will (fingers crossed) open on Tuesday 26th of June at 5:15 (don’t believe a word of it, maybe add an hour or two)

This date has been confirmed by Jose Luis Hernandez, Minister for Tourism who said the tunnel will be opened to the public by Ana Pastor, the Minister For Public Works. will this be a boost for the town of San Pedro or just divert all the trade elsewhere? only time will tell.
